Stallion Breeding
Contract
SOLD!
(But
he will be staying at Toadstool
Farm and hence, will remain
standing with us to meet your breeding
needs.Yay!)
Meet our purebred Friesian stallion,
Prophet! Born in 2001, he made his
way to Toadstool Farm in March of
2004.
Already best buddies with our other
three year old stallion, Finnvarra,
Prophet has wiggled his way into
our hearts and lives with his serene
temperament and superb presence.
Prophet truly lives up to his name.
He has the calm demeanor of a much
older gentleman, and a wise soul
peers out of his eyes from underneath
his heavy forelock.
Unbelievably eager to please, Prophet
is always up for anything you ask
of him, and has simply no stallion
manners. We reckon he'll be a phenomenal
riding horse and a supreme companion.
It's easy to forget he actually
is a stallion!
Prophet's movement and presence
is undeniable, as you can see from
these pictures of him. He is incredibly
uphill, and forward with exceptional
shoulder action and balance. His
knee action is what they all look
for in a Friesian, that super high
snappy carriage trot, but with the
push from behind that shows it comes
natural and is not a forced, trained
movement.
Prophet is a smaller Friesian, 15.1 and a bit
at this writing. We expect him to
reach 15.2 at maximum growth, making
him a perfect choice for your smaller
mares, or for those not looking
to breed height but still wanting
that flashy friesian look and movement.
Beautifully put together with lots
of thick hair, Prophet is the epitome
of a romantic, baroque horse with
the movement and energy of a sportier
type Friesian. What a combo!
Prophet will be standing to a limited
number of approved mares. His stud fee for this
first year is $800.00. We are taking
reservations, please contact
us for more information !
Prophet has been sold, but will
remain at Toadstool Farm under the
care of his new owner. He will remain
standing with us for breeding, so
it will be like nothing has changed
for our mare owners. Yay! We'd like
to congratulate Erica on the new
addition to her family and say a
sincere sorry to those who missed
this opportunity.
