Stallion
Stud Info:
Breeding contracts vary from stallion to stallion. Please
email us for more information on one or more of our "Boys".
We offer shipped fresh cooled
semen. Mare boarding and care is available on a strictly limited basis. We strongly recommend that if possible due to location and logistics, you take your mare to our collection vet, who specializes in repro work. The cost is very reasonable and as the semen is collected from our stallion and deposited directly and immediately into your mare, it assures the very best chance for a successful pregnancy on the first go.

Foals For Sale:
Please Note: We have never had a purebred foal hit the ground that was not sold prior to birth. And the last few years our foals have been selling before they are even conceived. Please do not hesitate to get your own Toadstool Farm foal as these highly sought after, famous foals sell fast! Edited....2009 saw our first ever purebred to hit the ground prior to being sold. That foal, the lovely Friesian filly, Evangeline, is for sale!!! Read on for more info!
Evangeline
For Sale
Willow's 2009 filly by our stallion, Krist. We found it rather hard to get good pics of Eva because she is such a pocket pony, we couldn't get her to move out away from us. We think we got one or two decent ones though.

She is so gorgeous.

Evangeline is the very first of our purebred foals not to be sold prior to birth...not too surprising during this economy. But that means you all have a rare chance to purchase a purebred Toadstool Farm foal already on the ground. And what a foal!!! Eva is for sale for $9000.

In Utero Gypsy Cob Foal:
We are giving our adored Gypsy mare, Barnane ("Topsy") a much deserved year off of breeding to recover from some mild founder. There will be no 2010 GYpsy foal from Toadstool Farm. Our 2011 foal from
our Gypsy Cob mare, Barnane, can be reserved in utero. The sire is our stallion, foundation GCDHA stallion,
Finnvarra. He can be seen in our stallion section. Once
this foal is on the ground, the price will increase. Click

For Lease:
We are currently seeking full or partial leases for the following of our horses:
Tuck
Tuck, our Fell, is very well mannered, suitable for all riding levels. Completely safe and bomb-proof, he is trained in English, with a base in dressage and some trail riding as well as a lesson horse for beginner and/or confidence-issue riders. We call him the sleep number pony because he adjusts his energy level to suit his rider: calm and quiet for a nervous or new rider, energetic and fun for a more advanced rider, but always safe and kind. Although Tuck is technically a pony by breed, he is sturdy and strong enough for full sized adults ( his owner is 5'11"!). We are located at a full service boarding facility with lit arenas, corrals, and plenty of trails. Lease terms are flexible. A caring, holistic trainer is available for private lessons at $50/hour should you need/want lessons. Read more about Tuck on his page: Tuck's page

Sissy
Sissy is an older (read: calm) Arab mare who is now semi retired, but needs someone to give her light to medium work and alot of love. She has been dressage trained, knows some tricks ( bow, begs), and is super easy to handle. She's about 14.1, golden chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. Lease terms are flexible and there is a trainer at the facility who is kind and caring. Facility offers tons of amenities ( arenas, turnouts, sunpens, walkers, washracks and more), and great trails. Barnane ("Topsy")
Topsy has been one of top brood mares here at the Farm for many years. She had somewhat of a hard time with the birth this year, and though she is recovering just fine, we have decided to give her a much deserved rest from breeding this year. Topsy is 100% bombproof and the kindest, sweetest, babysitter horse you could ever hope to meet. She is wonderful with kids, pets, beginners, and more. We are looking for someone to spend some time and love on her, with mild work, maybe light trail riding or ring work. Someone who wants a wonderful, beautiful, sweet horse to spend time with and love. Lease terms are flexible and there is a trainer at the facility who is kind and caring. Facility offers tons of amenities ( arenas, turnouts, sunpens, walkers, washracks and more), and great trails. Read more about Topsy on her page: Topsy's page

Friesians:
With a decade of experience with the Friesian
breed, we can help you locate your perfect Friesian horse.
Song
A pretty FriesianxMorgan cross filly by Saxon, our previously owned Friesian stallion now living in Minnesota. On commission.
"Song" is a coming 4 year old Moriesian mare. She is approx 15 hands, and will more than likely finish out around 15-1 to 15-2. Her dam is BrightWater BlackFire, a Kelly's bred working western bred Morgan. Song will make an excellent dressage horse. She has BEAUTIFUL movement, and is a real head turner when people see her go....She has her sire's long legs and "new style" Friesian ground-covering movement. Song clips. loads, ties, and is good for the farrier. Song is current on all shots and farrier. She is VERY sound, with no health problems. Song has a lovely LONG 2 1/2 foot mane at this writing...the Friesian in her really comes out in her mane and tail. She is coming 4 (will be in May) so is ready either to be bred or be trained for saddle/show. She is always willing, and tries hard to please (of course sometimes is over-eager like a teenager). She does well with older horses (including my gelding) when in the turnout.
Offered at $5000. Please contact us for more information
